Deland Amvets Post 13
645 West New York Avenue
Deland, FL 32720
The past two months had successful in fund raising for the post.
I would like to thank all members who have donated time and money for our events.
Special thanks to Vets, Ladies Auxiliary, and Sons. Without your support a lot of the events would not be possible.
Anyone with ideas for future events, please contact myself or any officer.
The next two months will be difficult to draw crowds, because of the lack of Northern friends, families preparing for the start of school, etc.
So, until next month, may we all have a good summer.

I have left this important VA Patient Information up for those of you who use the VA benefits.
If you seek emergent care (life or limb) at a local ER then you will need to call 321-397-6501 and let them know about the visit and why you went in order for them to consider paying for the visit. You must call them within 48 hours of your visit or inpatient admission.
If you need to communicate with your doctor, change an appointment, request a renewal of a medication then call TELECARE @ 1-800-645-6895 where you can speak with a nurse or pharmacy technician 24 hours a day 7 days a week. These nurses and pharmacy technicians communicate directly with your doctor. You will have much more success getting through on this number versus calling your team directly.
Pharmacy Refills: 1-877-646-4550 You must have your active prescription number available -- it is located on your medication bottle.
Use MyHealthEVet (https://www.myhealth.va.gov/index.html) to reorder your medications on-line. It is much easier and less frustrating. You can also send your provider secure messages through this site.
